On the opening day, Dr. Khan presented his keynote address, “Social Business at Daffodil: From Education to Action, Innovation & Sustainable Impact,” alongside a special social talk titled “The Daffodil Model in Nurturing and Generating Successful Social Entrepreneurs.”

In his presentations, Dr. Khan highlighted DIU’s integrated approach to social entrepreneurship, built around seven key pillars: Education, Exposure, Competition, Research, Entrepreneurship, Collaboration, and Impact. He demonstrated how universities can connect academic learning with practical experience, innovation, and enterprise development to prepare students to address real-world social and environmental challenges.

The presentation showcased DIU’s initiatives in social business education, international exposure programs, enterprise incubation, and digital empowerment. These initiatives reflect the university’s commitment to developing entrepreneurial mindsets among students and encouraging them to create sustainable solutions that generate meaningful social value.

The conference also features distinguished speakers, including Ms. Viviantie Sarjuni, CEO of the National Institute of Entrepreneurship (INSKEN), Malaysia and Mr. Imran Harith, CEO and Co-Founder of Discover Muaythai.
