Drawing on the experiences of Daffodil Foundation and Jeebika, Dr. Khan highlighted how philanthropy can create lasting change when it is connected with education, practical skills development, women’s empowerment, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. He emphasised the importance of helping individuals build the skills and confidence needed to improve their lives and become more self-reliant.
Addressing professionals in the Bangladeshi diaspora, Dr. Khan encouraged them to contribute not only through financial support but also by sharing their knowledge, providing mentorship, and building connections that open doors for others.
His message centred on creating opportunities that enable people to realise their potential, regardless of their circumstances. He expressed his appreciation to AABEA for the opportunity to share these perspectives and called for collective efforts to build a Bangladesh where talent and ambition can thrive.
